Can anyone help I have just got hold of some deflectors I think they are manufacturers from citroen as they came off another ds3 and have a small citroen sticker on. I have tried to fit by simply putting them in the same gap the window glass uses with windows open but the fitting seems very wrong they pretty much fall down on their own unless the window is closed.
I have currently fitting them in between the door frame and seal which fits much better but this now seems to affect the drivers side one touch close and once the window reaches the top it comes.back down half way so it seems like the deflector is blocking the glass and making it automatically come.back down half way.
I have left them in between the seal.and door and finally.got both Windows shut but after ready few things on here it seems like I may have done it wrong and I don't want a wet car.
Can anyone help?

My deflectors aren't Citroen ones but mine are held in with barbed u-shaped clips. I have read that you can silicone wind deflectors in (run a line of silicone on one edge, slide in and leave to fix with the windows up). I don't know if that would work for you? Also, regarding your windows coming down - apparently if you have a second pair of hands who can help the window up and then leave the window up for 24 hours, that's recommended.
I hope some of this helps or at least starts a pros and cons conversation for you."I'm a writer. I give the truth scope."

Yeah, I've got my stickers mounted in the same place."I'm a writer. I give the truth scope."

Incidentally, when I first fitted mine, they stayed in without clips. However, one did pop out once and when I refitted it, it wouldn't stay in and I had to use clips. Maybe yours has had wind deflectors fitted before and the 'pinch' has gone from the gap and that's why your new ones won't stay in."I'm a writer. I give the truth scope."

Pop corner one in, ease in corner two, then bend in slightly to slide three in:
Mine are Citroen ones. Some come with clips, but They aren't needed imo. The natural resistance from the bend keeps them in place.
