From my experience if you don't haggle the dealer down then they will rip you off. For my old Fiesta for example, they tried charging me £220 a month, but i'd done my research and got a loan for £150 a month instead.

Thats not very insightful to be honest.

Would you be surprised to learn that dealers only have 2& on basic to work with, the rest comes from Citroen in the form of targets.

I pay 280 pm for my Dsport hdi after 3k downwith 25k miles per year on elect 3 been looking at new cars as per my post my settlement is now £12100 after 1yr got offered 13k px against new DS3 in blck with 30k miles allowance will cost 360 per month ,
It seems there are many variables as to what dealers can do as bf76 says I'dlike to think my dealer could do better . I have more thinking to do and searching to see if better deal can be done,
I couldn't fix yer brakes so I made your horn louder!

I think I got a pretty good deal from my dealer on Friday. (Get it this Friday) Had negative equity on my PX and £5k left on finance. They paid that off and threw in GAP/Paint&Fabric Protection.

DStyle Plus EHDI 90 £297.93 per month. £500 deposit elect 3. 20k Miles per year. 3years servicing/road assist

I think the moral is whatever you are happy paying and you are pleased with, then alls good!
I think if you start looking at internet deals it will just p*ss you off unless you have a like for like deal to compare with. Do your homework first, thats what I do. It is a mine field otherwise and can cost you a fortune unless you are clued up. As I have already said, I am generally an internet buyer, but plenty of people on here happy with their local dealers - thanks god cos we need them to keep the dealers open so test drives are available lol

Most of these seem expensive, try going through carfile, I got my DSport + THP for £179 per month with a £2000 deposit on a 2 year contract (12k miles per year).

I looked online to see what prices I could get. Ended up going in to 2 dealers to see what they could do, as Bigfeet has said many times, you dont get the Dealer facilities online. Sometimes a face to face interaction puts your mind at ease when forking out so much money! They couldn't beat an online price, but got very, very close, ended up costing £4 a month more which isn't anything major. They did throw in the customary Car mats tho! I ended up paying a £1k deposit, £211 per month which included the Servicing package. This was on Elect 3 on a D Style, 90 eHDI, 12k per year with £6900 GFV.
