I got my DSport with £200 part ex, £1k deposit and £500 Citroen contribution for £275 per month on elect 3 with 14,000 miles per year. The lowest another dealer could get me was £282 on the same deal and they originally quoted me £266 for a style plus. Like other people have said its obviously about finding a deal you feel comfortable with and clearly deposit and annual mileage play a big part! Good luck!

i wouldnt normally say try webuyanycar to sell your car, but give it ago? you have nothing to lose and if it workds out ok you could save a lot with newcitroendeals. The only prob with selling privately is the hassle of trying to sell it after you have ordered the car come deadline day for picking the new car up. Internet sites do give px prices you know!
Hi mate what deal can you get me on a DS3 90hdi DSTYLE PLUS on elect3 over 3 years £500 deposit
Eggey, do you want to give me a call on 01772 768222 and ask for Matt, need to know how many miles etc your looking at, colour etc etc. Should be able to at least match new citroen deals for you, also if you have a part exchange then we can look at that for you too
still no joy my dealer will not go lower then £266 a month on elect3 with £500 deposit on a DSTYLE PLUS 90 HDI this still seems to dear to me what do you think
Took the plunge today when in to the local dealer told him i want a DS3 DSTYLE PLUS, part ex my car what i owe £5800 on but he said no ploblem i can give you that for your car. then he when out back (as they do) came back with £308 a month on elect 3 plan with £500 deposit!! seems a bit much a month what do you think.
Guys there is an important point to remember about Elect3 - don't go in with a huge deposit, I always advise keeping the deposit less than £2,000 at the most.
The reason being is if you stick in a huge amount at the end you will never get it back at the end of the agreement, at most you may earn £500, which means you have to find another pot of money for the next car otherwise the finance payments will shoot through the roof.
Always get a quote for the lowest deposit first to see if you are comfortable with the repayments, if not than Elect3 is not for you and you need to consider a longer purchasing option such as Elect4 or HP.

I still live at home with parents cos I have a shit job so I treated myself to the DS3 whilst I still have no bills or anything. THP, Elect3 for 2 years, 8000miles a year, £5000 deposit (it would've been £4500 to buy my C2 Code from the previous Elect3) and I pay about £170 a month. The GFV is huge so I won't be able to justify buying the car at the end but I like to change cars often anyway and I need to get a place of my own soon so it's going to have to be a banger after the DS3!

I always thought and was told the more deposit you put in the less interest you pay back in the end, as you are charged on the amount you balance to finance? eg the less you finance the less interest? the gfv doesn't change as far as i remember? Correct me if i am wrong!
Also, that is why car makers don't like you to put more than 30% deposit so they can get more interest from you on the balance owing.
That is very true of the interest on Elect3 is worked out on the two amounts, the balance borrowed and GFV. The deposit limit on Elect3 is 40% and the reason is to stop people putting in the full amount to borrow and running the car with no repayments until the GFV, the finance company makes no money themselves this way.
The thing with Elect3 is that the balance must be right, if you have way too less miles you will end up being screwed at PX time or handback because of the mileage charge. If your deposit is too high then you will have to put more money back in at the end if you want to go again with the same sort of repayments, I have never seen anyone draw more that £500-600 out of their car on PX against GFV.
