I didn't buy my DS3 to thrash it within an inch of its life otherwise I would have kept or traded in my Leon FSI for a similar model.

You must be pretty good at the old economy drive then! The best I get with mixed driving is about 43MPG and when I'm just commuting it's down at about 36-38!

Highly Doubt It, I Get 70-80Mpg On Motorways, There's No Chance Your THP Does Better Than That

I'm not going to do the math, but I think you'll find Riggs56 is referring to the fact that he will get more litres of unleaded for £60 than £60 of diesel. Whether or not you can go further on £60 of unleaded I'll leave for somebody else to work out.

I've got a 4 month old THP, and I'm getting 42mpg. When we see
a DS3 my youngest daughter always checks the exhaust. 'Only one
exhaust dad it's a baby Ds'.
                    Oh how we laugh

Correct, more fuel to start with and the best we have achieved from a single tank is 580 miles, admittedly a long run that ensured easy driving and min throttle. So, 44 litres Unleaded @ 1.36 = £59.84. The same price gets me 40 litres of diesel (£59.20). 44 litres on a dedicated run A road and motorway I can get 583 miles. If the diesel travels 65 mpg it will achieve 571. Simples THP rocks!

If you're managing to get ~60mpg out of a THP, then I imagine with the same driving you'd get more than 65mpg out of either of the diesel models.

Pmsl !! Good to see that the next generation of petrol-heads are starting young!

THPs do it at 6500 rpm! Can't do that in a diesel !!

                                Wrong, your saying 50.25 mpg on the THP (583miles/11.62gal or 44l) and 54.07 mpg on the diesel not 65mpg (571miles/10.56gal or 40l). 65mpg would be 686miles (65mpg x 10.56gal or 40l)

I still love my THP though
