apologies for lack of pics - posted then went on holiday...

mine wouldn't show anything extra to Arlow's pictures above - except a different holder (for HTC Desire HD)...

I juse use one of the windscreen sucky ones and the power thing was a puzzler so I mounted it to the right of steering wheel. That way the power line goes under the seat, under my mat and up into the gap between door and dash and then up behind dash to my phone. There's like a little recess there that works perfectly for a power cable. I only need the one since my phone is also my Satnav and a few other things- don't think that would work with one of these mounts but the one I have was about 5 quid off amazon and works a charm

anyone tried installing a fixed Brodit mount?

thinking of getting the mount to the left of the stereo, and thought it'd probably be easier to wire it in behind the stereo. from looking at the Brodit install guide, it needs a power and ground. can I just tap into the stereo feeds?

Anyone done any electrical wiring on the DS3?

Am thinking about getting a fixed install Brodit mount, but need a 12v 2amp feed... Can I just tap into the feeds for the stereo?

            Cheers
