hmmmm where to start???? people driving with fog lights on on a clear day, tailgaters, people cutting infront of you at roundabouts to gain that extra space, i know this next one is legal but - motorbikes riding down between lanes during a traffic jam (wait like the rest of us have to you impatient idiots), lack of indicators or indicating last minute, drivers still using mobile phones while driving (get a bluetooth for ya car idiots). Think thats my rant over for now, normally a calm person off the roads but theres so many idiots out there it makes my blood boil when im behind the wheel.
There's no point in having a motorbike unless you use it to get through traffic!
A sensible rider will cut between lanes slowly in case some idiot in a car tries to switch lanes without looking or open his door!

A sensible driver will be aware of the presence of a bike & allow room for it to pass. Thankfully such drivers far outnumber the morons who will deliberately block a bike's progress.
You all beat me to rising to the bait on this one ^_^
Filtering is perfectly legal and the most sensible option for motorcycle riders. It negates the need to sit, shivering in traffic on cold days. With most modern air cooled bikes it's also necessary to keep them moving when the engine is running to prevent overheating.
If you're jealous of a biker getting home faster than you then maybe you need to look at alternative modes of transport
