Hi guys, hope all are well.
So I mentioned on a post that my gearbox was playing up and wouldn't go into 5th gear. Well... earlier today it REALLY wouldn't budge. Got to a point on an A road where I needed 5th and it just wasn't having any of it (embarrassing having to go 10mph slower than the limit as to avoid 5th haha) but anyway the worst was yet to come... The gearbox just seemed to freeze, I couldn't get it into any gear for a couple mins so was just coasting, frantically trying any gear at all! Luckily managed to get into 3rd gear and then pulled off the A road and stopped.
So tomorrow morning my car's booked in to go back to Citroen, I'm just PRAYING it's done in time for the France trip as I really don't wanna miss it.

Good luck and fingers crossed. If they can't fix it in time we'll try and sort something out.

Nope nothing yet. Was so sad watching my little beaut, get taken on a tow truck.

update: phone call from dealership, no news yet really as to what's going on - they've done diagnostics and a few tests on it but tomorrow the head engineer/mechanic is doing more tests.

another update: REALLY missing my car now lool.
Head mechanic/tech/engineer can't find source of fault so I now have a Citroen road tester taking my car out to see if he can find anything & so awaiting another phone call to see what he says.

sounds like typical Citroen talk I encountered :\ really feel for ya bin through this just not with this fault. hope they find it soon.
