: UPDATE: just update for some of you who have wished the car well ( much appreciated) after many arguments with citroen because I had "changed the air cleaner and fitted alloy boost pipes" which apparently affected everything and was pretty much the reason the cars gone wrong :S , I took it away from them and refused to let them do it out of warranty ( cash) or put the car back to standard so they could have a look and see what was wrong , I pulled a few strings read the codes and got a reading of 2 failed ignition coils causing the faults and lumpy running. After buying 2 new ones for £50 , fitted them and................ no difference :S. on the off chance checked the plugs and low and behold 2 plugs cyl 1 and cyl 4 the sheathing had dropped over the electrode and was stopping them sparking shorting out the coils rasing the fault. so 4 plugs later £8 each ( platinum tipped) :\ and 2 coils sent back job done cars running as sweet as a nut.happy me
+ given citroen a bell and let them no that the problem had nothing to do with any mods just for future reference.Last edited by mattds3sport; 24-04-2013, 17:51.

waas a mechanic in a past life but havent touched the tools for a while but i know that garages will do anything to avoid paying for repairs themselves. good bit of detective work on your part and not that expencive a fix. makes you wonder why they didnt check that out rather than just chuck the dummy out at the first sign of mods. i am loathed to use a dealer to service or repair mins even though its only 6 months old ill still use my trusted back street garage for all service and repairs he is bloody good not to expensive and most of all i trust his word. might be worth finding someone like that down your way.

Yh Ive got a garage near me with 4 cracking mechanics working there ive known for years (+ my granddad used to m.o.t cars there as a mechanic ) so they tested it for me and solved it. As you say best price ( free most the timesfavours are good. ) and best quality in work. Thanks mjhill

Big up for Matt, sorting it out for yourself
So if the dealers are willing to scrap your warranty with just a few engine bay cosmetics you might as well get it Miltek'd and big turbo'd.....best budget for a decent clutch as I've now found out running stage 3+

A Garrett GT28 should do the trick lol
Take it back to Citroen with one if these hanging off the side of your engine...
