Hi all,
I am getting a DS3 through a work salary sacrifice scheme and I am really excited. It's a 1.6e-HDi AirDream 115 DSport Plus in sport yellow. I kept adding to the build options on the cars available and the DSport Plus seemed to be the most balance between options and price. I keep seeing them now as they drive past and I am sure they are mocking me because mine hasn't arrived yet but yellow is the one colour I see the least and to be honest I kind of found it to look the nicest out of the available options. I am pretty sure I am not going to be disappointed.
I have to admit I am slightly concerned about the scare stories about DPF but in order to get the car of this spec on a salary scheme it needed to be low emissions and I don't do only city miles so it should be fine
I can see the DS3 has a lot of fans just from browsing the forums here. I ordered it back in February and the lease company keep changing the delivery, originally estimated early April, then it seems to keep slipping :-( It is now apparently in build and was estimated 15th but now once again slipped until estimated 30th. Sigh... My last car was a Freelander 1.8 so this should be rather a difference!
But anyway, the DSport seems to come fitted with pretty much all the options, maybe a stupid question but does it come with car mats and do all the new models now come fitted with the 3D rear lights?
The other thing I wasn't sure about is how automatic headlights work. Is it only side lights or is it much more automatic than that?
I also have what may be a stupid question, but I was wondering where reverse gear is? When the car is delivered I don't want to look like a total idiot when i can't work out the gears
The other thing was regarding dogs in the car. Are there recommended bot liners/dog guards out there? I wnt to keep them in the boot area to minimise any cleaning issues that may arise from dog hairs and the like
Looking forward to becoming a proper DS3 person in the coming weeks!
