What is your 1 fault you found with your ds3 that bugs you!

What hill start assist? I asked about that and was told its an automatic gear box feature but you said you have a manual?

Haven't you lot learnt that car dealers / sales men / women are basically the devil and will do any think to shift a car ..... I would I'd it was my way of making a living .... The only thing that I wanted to do when getting my ds3 was to leave the for court feeling like I just had the dealers pants down ........ But we all no he done me by trading in the gf's c1 and making me pay 8k ...... But I did get 6 months tax and floor mats lol

Correct the normal manual gearbox 5 or 6 speed does not have this. It is a feature for an automated manual gearbox that is sold in some markets.

It's not on the Automatic as the UK version uses the old CVT box which has 'creep', in Europe the Auto box is dropped in favour of the EGS set-up and because of the way it works that is the DS3 which has 'Hill-start Assist'.

I understand optional car features being available in a car manual but if a feature doesn't exist at all in a country I don't see why they don't make a country specific manual. But then I am getting a bit of a grumpy old man

The hill start assist is something I found a bit confusing as described as I didn't realise it wasn't in all cars. But then I easily get confused

Fairly certain that the car manual just gets translated to different languages not rewritten for each country. A cost savings thing most likely.

Which brochure do you have? The main one or the Plus version?

It's main brochure but has lil black dot indicating I get folding mirrors on Sport

On the back there is a serial number which will start with a K, let me know which one you have please

Arent the doors tinny when you shut them- I remember a 3.20 BMW 6 cylinder thing I had years ago. Slammed the door on that and it were a right solid thud
Fill the doors with padding or something? That work? - wont make them heavier tho
Just don't slam I suppose (Have to with all windows closed)

Oh, hadn't noticed that Chris, maybe cos they sound better than the Astra I had previously and certainly better than the Corsa my fiancee has

You do know that the 'thud' noise from the BMW is nothing to do with the weight of the doors?

The sound you hear is more to do with the air escaping for the double seals around the door

No- I dint know that. It felt a right weighty door to close tho- loved the thud- and the sound of the 6 cylinder
