Sorry to hear that so that's been number 1 piston on most of the ones that's let go and I think there was number 2 as well so it's not the same on all the racings.

It is usually the lower part of piston crown. I had an APR engine specialist looking at it and giving a testimonial, he concluded the lower part of piston crown is too thin and cannot withstand the pressure (not to add the occasional detonations caused by PCV gasses).Citroën DS3 Racing 2011 Polar White

Well it's been a week and what have citroen done ? Nothing at all except tell me its piston number 3 they haven't even ordered a new engine as they want to have a look if they can repair my engine not happy poor customer service should of had this done last week.
