    Sorry to hear that so that's been number 1 piston on most of the ones that's let go and I think there was number 2 as well so it's not the same on all the racings.

      yeah he said he's never seen it in a racing before it was mostly THP150s :/

            Ive seen piccies of piston rings, and both top and bottom part of pistons broke
            I reckon its the heat generated.......but just a guess as Im no automotive engineer LOL

            Havent heard of piston rods gone yet

              It is usually the lower part of piston crown. I had an APR engine specialist looking at it and giving a testimonial, he concluded the lower part of piston crown is too thin and cannot withstand the pressure (not to add the occasional detonations caused by PCV gasses).

                  Good question. I know PSA is putting stronger internals in the RCZ R. 260-270ish hp

                          Well it's been a week and what have citroen done ? Nothing at all except tell me its piston number 3 they haven't even ordered a new engine as they want to have a look if they can repair my engine not happy poor customer service should of had this done last week. Citroen uk are no help either

                            Hi mate sorry to hear that but that's dealers for you other people who had to same problem as you had the same thing not good citroen do not learn.

                              Suggest you go get a whole truck load of patience because if history has taught us anything it is that this is going to be a long trying ordeal for you
