Those "Rain away" products, which aftre applied to the windscreen, and makes the rain bead off, help smooth the windscreen wiper blade
In fact if you go at average speed with that stuff on the screen, the rain beads off so effectively, you dont even need the wipers on

This may sound like a daft question; but how do i remove the front wiper blades from my car? The wiper blades have no movement on the wiper arm...?

I can't remember exactly how it's done, but if I remember correctly you just press a little locking tab & they slide off down the arm.

I can't check at the moment as my wife's out in the car, but if nobody's given the answer by the time she gets back I'll have a look & see how it's done.

Here you go. Just pull down that tab in the direction of the arrow. The blade will slide off then.

            upps a little late haha

Thanks cyclone, it's always nice to see people making an effort to help others :-)
Another note, the plastic tabs can be quite brittle and shatter, and shouldn't require much force! Also, the wiper blade sides away from the wiper arm :-)

I had this from day 1 with mine, I even had a new wiper blade put on which cured it for all of 5 minutes, since then and 25k miles later i've given up with it, it smears and misses bits no matter what I do!
