Does it do a premium unleaded petrol? Never been to Esso TBH, but if I did would get the best they got

Well, I'm on my sixth tank of Shell Nitro+ now and initially the mpg seemed to be the only noticeable change as it went down a little bit and normally it's v consistent.

I think I posted elsewhere that the acceleration and drive did seem marginally improved and I think it does make the car slightly better to drive. I'm not sure it's worth the extra price though which is not inconsequential

Can you not just run a cleaner through every now and again to keep the engine clean?

My MPG has improved a smidge on a run and the car idled smoother when cold, outside of that im not qualified enough to know if has improved performance.

BUT, I shelled out £19k for my car and if I cant afford to put decent fuel in it then I shouldn't moan if over time performance tails off.

Some people will always argue that the normal stuff is fine, then again some people smoke, drink heavily, eat foods high in fat and sugar and do no worthwhile exercise, they still claim to be happy although their quality of life will diminish rapidly.

I bet the remap improved the mpg more ? As an update on the post above my mpg increased back to 57mpg on the last tank so maybe the car is learning the new fuel....

Was 50 MPG on the way up to SP and I think a little less on the way down, probably due to burying the throttle a couple of times .

Averaged 50MPG to France as well which was mostly motorway at 70mph and some muddy country lanes at walking speed.

Yeah it's tricky to drive the same afterwards when you have so much more power

I had my brothers 911 S4 for a month a couple of years ago, that was a costly commute on a Friday and Sunday.

I bet ! Years ago when I worked at Barclay's one of the managers assistants was lent an AC Cobra for the week by one of the clients (no bribery obviously) that cost him more in petrol in a week than he normally spent in a month, super fast beautiful old car but it was bloody thirsty on the fuel !

An original, the owner was a Co director and he always wanted one, when his business became successful he treated himself......

I thought they were incredibly rare, an original that is, not a hand built copy.
