Shouldn't need to be forceful. Possibly broken mechanism or using the wrong lever?

I'd wait for WTF's photo's to confirm though.

Yeah, I've fallen prey to the wrong lever and rage quit trying.

Exactly. I've done the same in friends cars (non-DS3), very annoying when they point out the lever I need is on the other side, lol.

Cheers WTF - i tried both levers but couldn't get more than about 120 degree angle - unlike the 180 i could get in the Peugeot

You've opened a can of worms confessing to be a woman!

Have you tried knocking the seat back without the head rest in place? I used to be able to get mine pretty much completely horizontal.

@Dangerousfish - hmm too many punchlines available for your remark about getting yours horizontal - especially after I had resisted commenting on my g/f being used to me easily getting 2m of wood in my 206......

This is about the best that the seats will recline. Back seat down first then front seat full forwards then reclined. Tried it with seat all the way up and down didn't change the position of the seat back by an inch.

Parcel shelf out or behind the front seats, back seats down.

                        Normal:

Move seat as far fwd as it will go.

                        Use this lever:

This is as far back as it will go:

Front seat down, then back seats:

Excuse the state of the car, I've just moved house.... with a billy book case, so it does 100% fit (Height: 202 cm)

Wow Joni - above and beyond the call on the pics - thanx!! Mine definitely wouldn't go that far - will try again tho - perhaps trying this with a force nine gale blowing in the ikea carpark as I tried to wrestle with door/seat/large box/numpties almost taking my wing mirrors off was putting too much pressure on the situation!!
Thanks for all the help tho guys :O)

My last car was a mini which my ex reclined to sleep on a long drive...it never went forwards again The rest of my passengers were highly annoyed! and I couldnt let anyone into the back seats either! Im sceptical to recline the seat if i dont have to, to get the wardrobe in!
