In the normal way I would just ignore it, it's not dangerous however get a picky examiner on test could deem it unsafe and cancel a test leaving me to foot the bill. I'd also love to just leave them the car for as long as needed but the longer they have it the more money I loseBumbleBee OneTwenteeee!

The DS finally went back yesterday to have a new top mount fitted, was rather angered that it hadn't been done on the 31st as promised but the service manager was very helpful and has promised to do anything to get my car fixed.
So here's to hoping it's fixed!BumbleBee OneTwenteeee!

Just like to add, I spoke to the service manager again today feels like an old friend now haha! I asked if there was anything actually wrong with the mount that came off, he said he would go look and talk to the tech and ring me back. He rang back and said to his surprise there was a lot of play and rubber perishing on the one that came off :O which for a 10 month old car was not good. Anyway, were confident that's what the problem is. However any more knocks or noises take it straight in and he will get a tech to look at it there and then as he knows I need my car!!BumbleBee OneTwenteeee!
