Just wondering if anyone else has heard of the same problems as I'm having. I've been to my local Citroen garage they can seem to detect the problem. I purchased the car in November and it'll be a year old in 3 days time. Basically, it seems like the breaks seize up after the car isn't used for maybe 2 days or more. As you start to pull away it almost feels like the handbrake is still on but I can assure you its not. My other problem is that my engine doesn't seem to heat up quick enough. I could be running the car for about 8 minutes and its still blowing cold air. Anyone got any ideas? It had a service in December 2013.

The brakes issue is normal, happens on mine and has been mentioned before by other members. Not sure about the heating issue but I'm sure someone will know.

As mentioned before you get a little bit of rust on the brakes which cause them to stick after a couple of days, nothing to worry about as it's quite normal.
In regards to the heater I take it you are using the AC when attempting to heat the car?...I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!

I find the heating to be a bit dodgy in the DS3. As noted, it takes a while to heat up, but even more annoyingly, if you've got the digital climate control, you can only heat the windscreen on FULL POWER. This was especially irritating on a recent long motorway journey with four friends in the car + luggage; due to so many people, we had to have the heater on full power on the windscreen for most of the journey due to poor weather conditions and lots of body heat! Overall, I don't think the heating system is as good as my previous car, which was a teeny tiny Toyota Aygo.

It's all explained in the Owner's Handbook . . .Last edited by DaveB; 09-02-2014, 21:53.

With Dave on that you only needed to adjust the manual side of the climate control rather then use the demist program.

Quick question. Are you running the air circulator at the same time, that would help to explain the poor clearing. Otherwise it might be worth having the cabin filter checked, if its done that too will cause a build up.
I dont think the design of the system is at fault as other DS3 I've used clear and function fine so my guess there is something else going on.
