Folding mirrors on Ds3 Dsport!

Hi all,

Car finally arrived this afternoon and I'm really impressed with it.

How do I activate the folding mirrors? When I lock the car they don't fold in at present!

Hi Dave,

What model DS3 do you have?

Providing yours actually has folding mirrors there should be a small toggle switch attached to the wing mirror adjuster. Try moving this up and down to fold the mirrors in.

Does your car have them? The +'s have them but they are an option on a normal Dsport

It's a dsport hdi 12 plate, ahhh ok may not have them then.
I'll have another look later to see if there is a switch.
So it's next to the adjustment buttons usually?

It IS the adjustment button, it should slide up and down if your mirrors fold.

Correct, side to side to select which mirror to adjust and straight back to fold or unfold.

You will only have folding mirrors if you have factory fit parking sensors.

Im sure a lot of things that are options now, came as standard when I bought mine. I don't remember paying extra for my spoiler or parking sensors although I did for a spare wheel.

Is yours a DSport+ SfG ?

There was no such thing when I bought mine, there was a DSport and then you added what you wanted from the extras list. Im pretty sure a lot of what is now a paid for extra came standard at the time.

Think the Dsport+ came in 2012. Not certain tho
Were just Extras to add on as SFG said when i got mine mid 2011

I only noticed recently that other DS3S don't have the same spoiler as mine.

I only realised when speccing up a new car when I suspected mine may have been a write off.
