Rubbish, the only time the goo is no use is when the tyre is split mate.

The goo kit is fast to use and in my opinion safer to use on the motorway.

To be honest though the average person only gets a puncture once every 80,000 miles and with more of us having breakdown recovery anyway there really is no need for a spare. Granted this argument will rage on for eternity!

I think you've gone down the right route. The option packs have changed in such a way over the last few months that the DSign is now a really unattractive deal.

I wish! I had one go within 10k miles on my C1 and within my first 1500 miles of driving my DS3 I lost one of my Michelins. That's a puncture every 6000 miles for me! I still only carry the goo though. Worst case scenario the AA will get me home.

The goo kit is fast, safer and you can drive at a high speed as well.

I don't agree Biggie, my mate had a nail in his tyre and used the goo, it didn't work and he ended up with a mess all over his driveway and then needed to call the AA out anyway, he bought a space saver after that so that he could at least get to a tyre centre if it happens again... I understand the principle of why manufacturers want us all to have goo instead, I just think it doesn't work as well in a real life environment.

I had a puncture at 5000 miles in my DS3 too, couldn't be repaired so had to get a new Michelin

            RTFM!

"Drive at reduced speed (50mph [80 km/h]max) limiting the distance travelled to approximately 120 miles (200 km)."

In other words, pretty much the same limitations as a Space Saver.

Point taken, I had a look and indeed you are correct. I had in my head earlier space savers which were limited to 40mph.

I've had 4-5 punctures in the past few months as I use my car for work, and the idiots that just leave screws on the road after they drop them are everywhere!

The glue stuff is shit. You're better off filling your tyre with air with the pump and limping to a garage and getting it repaired for £15 instead of having to folk out £120 for a new tyre!

Where are the drl's on the dSign model? I thought every car after 2013 had to have DRL's because of the EU?

Is it true that after using the glue stuff, the tyre cannot be repaired (ie plugged)?
