Yep, I spent the weekend lovingly cleaning the car (to chauffeur the mother to the family dinner yesterday) only to find a layer of sand covering the car this morning. Dammit! Now I'll just have to lovingly clean it all over again : )

Mine is completely covered in sand I need to clean it soon but real busy at the moment , I just hope nobody wrights "please clean me" in the dust

So that's what this was, was a bit annoyed on Monday morning as i'd spent most of the Sunday afternoon cleaning it. I thought one of the neighbours had cut the grass and had it all blown onto my car or something.

Yeah, my Dad and I gave mine its first clean on Sunday afternoon and then heard about this dust, and it is now a very fine layer over the whole thing!

Cant believe how grubby mines getting- its naff.
Iy was spotless Saturday and looks like its done a run through the Aussie outback. Red sand and dirt.

4th wash for mine tonight since Sunday now. I say wash, it was just a pre-rinse of AutoFoam, left to dwell for 5 mins, pressure rinsed off with the Nilfisk then patted dry with the Mammoth.
It's not dust that has settled on mine it's been mixed in with the rain so is dirty, dried water marks.

Just spray with water frist i think- havent got none of these fancy prewash and foam things
Unless theres another cheap answer?

Pop to Wilkinsons, buy these (2L pressure sprayer £4 and 1L Demon RDS £2.99) Job done.
I am diluting the RDS 1:1 atm so lasting twice as long. Spray, leave to dwell, pressure rinse off then dry. If no pressure washer then go to local jet wash where you can select the programmes yourself, spray car with pressure sprayer, leave to dwell then select rinse on the jet wash and rinse off.


FYI. White vinegar bottle in the middle is to go in the washer when cleaning the microfibre cloths.
