Had my DS3 DSport+ 155THP since December and it's got about 4500 on the clock, no issues until today.
Got in the car this morning to set off to work, and 200m into the journey the engine temperature gauge went as high as it'd go and I got the below warning on the dash, great!

Got back home, rang Green Flag as I get them free with my bank. Young lad came out about 45mins later, said 'I think it's you're temperature sensor', as I'd already told him. He then went to get his diagnostics kit, and spent the next 15 minutes ripping various panels off the inside of my DS3 before saying 'I've never done a DS3 before, I dunno where the diagnostics kit plugs in... But your car is fucked, take it to the garage'.
After he'd left, I remembered something about Citroen Assist as I lease the car. Rang a number I found online, yep, no problem they said, we'll be there in 30mins. AA man turns up, equally as useless, 'errr take it to a garage when you can, but it's ok to drive because it's just a sensor'. Asked him if he'd personally drive it with the said problem, he said no. Already two hours late for work at this point with a knackered car and no way to get it fixed before Monday.
Then came the surprise. The nice AA man said he'll sort me out a hire car for a week as I lease with Citroen 'so it's there problem'. Didn't realise Citroen even provided a hire car in the event of yours being knackered!
All in all, within 45mins of the AA man arriving, I was on my way to pick up a hire car for a week and Citroen are coming to my house to pick up the car on Monday morning to try and sort it. Excellent customer service, IMO!
