Hypothetical DS-R question

Trying to remember out of memory (thus take with grain of salt):
-~1k e on ZRP con rods + Wössner piston kit (uprated to 800hp)
-installation ~700e with oil pump strengthening + cylinder head porting
-Devils Own WMI kit ~200e
-OCC + pipes ~50-100e
-Forge pipes and intake ~500e
-Clemens IC ~600e
-Powerflex engine mount ~20e
-Forge dump valve ~100e
-Remap is a secret

According to some people you can live without the IC upgrade if you use the WMI kit.
And depending on how much power you aim to squeeze out, you can drop some of the other mods out too.

Back on track, I wouldn't tune the engine other than a trip to Jamie, im just looking at the cost of getting a Racing that doesn't die, cheap 2nd hand and replace the 'basic' internals might be the way to go.

I'm getting the racing forged next year, TD05 eventually or if another racing comes up cheap enough I'll buy it just for track use and do the mods to that one. Would mean selling half my fleet but worth it in long run lol

The DS3 R that I bought, which after 9 weeks of ownership, had to have a new engine and turbo, which I returned as a lemon and got my money back on, is back up for sale for £17,000. That's a good deal more than I paid for it. Good luck to the next purchaser that's all i'd say.

if I see one for the right price, and the right colour obviously then I might buy. Il still keep my other car though. Then again we are hopefully picking up another pup Vizsla so might look at a car suitable for two hounds. The problem is I need four cars to cover the things I like doing but im hardly in the UK and the wife only really needs to drive now and again.

The current Mrs SFG likes driving cars, she has driven some lovely cars (The new McLaren) but has no interest in talking about them, to ask her to give up a Sunday is a little to much. Anyway im working in London from early doors so its a no go from me.
