Too much gold, its like David Dickenson on speed.

Will they do a 'Basildon Edition' with an Elizabeth Duke styled interior, hoop earing wing mirrors and Burberry seat covers?

205BHP at the flywheel? Isn't this less power than the previous Racing? Co2 is good, I'm sure it's a nice car but it will be slower than my tuned THP... Wish they did a 2.0T

Based on what evidence? 0-60, standing 1/4, top speed, a lap of the Nürburgring?

The problem with a Tuned THP is things can go wrong. Injectors, inlet valves, HPFP, ECU, as it isn't then standard. And you sweat on the warranty

If the Performance is standard spec at 208 bhp, then that's much better to have than a Tuned THP, and higher than the last Racing.

And you can get in marvellous Black and Gold :snowy0:
          Fantastic

No doubt a test drive will answer a few concerns

          PS 2.0Ts are great

If I could somehow swap my THP165 for a Performance Black and carry on paying monthly, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I'm sure you could but I imagine it would be an expensive change so early into your contract (assuming you're on PCP).

                Only 3 months into a 3 year Elect3. I don't think it's realistic but if I could, I probably would.

Plenty of other differences, I'm not sure how long a THP clutch will last if you are push +200bhp through it aggressively, hence why run an uprated one in mine, also car weight, track, steering, road height, brakes, tyres etc etc etc, there is more to performance than BHP alone.

You can always ask your dealer / Biggy to run some numbers for you. I changed mine at 24 months (into 3 year Elect3) and it was a bigger deposit but I did add a few extras onto the new car. Worse will happen is you can't justify the cost of the change but at least you know. I was lucky at the time and it worked out in my favour.

I'll ask the dealer to see if it's possible. I reckon I'd have to buy it outright and use it as deposit/part-ex which I'm not prepared to do. I think they'd probably be left out of pocket because they'd have a 3 month old car they couldn't sell for near the original price.

Only time will tell with the engine. Lets hope there are no troubles :-)

Ed: Clarification..... That looks fabulous, especially the wheels, and the Gold/Black
Looks good, but again, the Engine is already used in the PUG 208 GTi. some owners reporting lots of issues, others no. seems like a hit and miss affair. I just hope Citroen dont slap a ridiculous price tag on it.

I think some owners use their car wrong. I have a friend with a 2012 DS3 Racing. He rebuild his engine (because he wants more HP) and his Inline valves where 98% clean. So just drive your THP right and everything will be ok. Which means 98 octane fuel and drive your car sometimes with 5000 RPM for some minutes and your engine will be good. And let the engine heat up before you push the pedal to the metal

Thank goodness for the pricing being more sensible - if it had been around the £30k mark it would have been a tough sell I think.... Mmmm a Performance Black at £20k would be a good haggle and deal wouldn't it ? I'm going to start looking for a new one in 2017 SfG, want to do a joint haggle somewhere ?

il probably go down a different route, il keep my DS3 for when I'm home and now we are living further out in the sticks the current Mrs SFG will look for something else, maybe BMW 3 series estate or similar. My dad has just bought the Lexus 4x4 v6 in all white, il see what she thinks when she has a drive.
