  • The r is in citroen after 3 weeks!

Firstly a really loud grind whenever I was braking, took it citroen
Twice about it, 2 technicians told me it was fine I wasn't too sure
    They were right,

Next I went to overtake in 4th and the car juddered as if I was in
The wrong gear but at about 3000rpm and at about 50mph I highly
    Doubted that!

The next issue was when i got home the car had a really unusual noise
Coming from around the front drivers wheel, like a very bad squeak almost
As if something was blocked and pressure was being pushed through

So back to citroen it went, they've had it for a week now and replaced
    All of the break pads/disks

They have apparently never had a car judder like mine and got in contact
With citroen who had them record the noise and send it to them,
Apparently citroen have have them a list of checks to do on the car on the manifold

Anyone had these problems before? All citroen have said is they will try to fix it
And have offered me a free service which apparently is 260 quid next time it needs
    Servicing?

    Cheers cubby

    Which model do you have?

Looking at the title I would guess DS3 Racing?

Have a catch up with these threads and then provide your dealer with a link to the pages if they're still unsure as to what the cause could be.

Would try get your money back Cyber- if you don't fancy modifying your car, which would break the warranty, you may well end up with a list of problems.
Not sure a Racing without a warranty would lead to a relaxing drive every day (Unless your a friend of Greg at Hangar)
Unfortunately (Cos they look cracking cars) quite a few Racings have problems
There are also quite a few that don't.......

Maybe give the dealer a chance to explain first, but if you have had the car less than 7 days, think you are in a strong position
