    It will do until I'm home next when il follow cyclones lead and plumb the other pipe in. still not happy with the connection at the top, not as snug as id like so will look into that.

      So long as it works. Maybe take the mileage and see how much builds up in 2000 miles or so.

        I looked at looping it clockwise but the pipe would have sat a little too high for my liking, so I went with a slightly longer cut for a gentle bend. I tell you what though, this car must have the hottest engine known to man, and it stays hot for ever.

        @ Jamie, can the cover above the HT caps be removed, I would like to secure the plug with a jubbly clip but cant do it with that cover in place.

            The engine does get, and stay hot, that why i cut in bonnet vents.
            According to torque pro, the temperature doesnt get as nearly as high, at high speeds
            Also helps cooling down (A lot) when engine switched off. Been advised it will be good as a hand warmer in winter too LOL

                Yeah- cut some bonnet vents over the winter, keeps the temperature down effectively
                Seems to stop the engine feeling a bit "dead" at the top of the rev range in each gear

                  I meant bonnet vents as in did you cut holes in your bonnet?

                        ED- Heres one of the vents. Looks good tho, so Ive been told by others
                        But its the heat dissapation i was after
                        Got hold of a second hand bonnet... in same colour which was nice

                          DS3 1.6THP DSport with a few bits added.....nickname BB :bow:
