    110bhp sport

    claims are 30-35 bhp
we want to run the car on the dyno so we know the settings that will not put excessive strain on he engine
we have some pretty sharp technical gizmos that will monitor everthing while shes running

the boxes are th esame external design so they will be adjustable

will the results for the Hdi 110 bhp be applicable to the 90bhp unit or should that be tested as well

I Should Imagine The Gains Would Be Roughly The Same ?...

We'll Have To Wait Untill The Bromsgrove Meet To Find Out =D

we will test the 90 and the 99g
that will be purely for correct settings as and when we fit them

insurance premiums are a strange thing
legaly you have to inform your insurers of modifications
in reality i doubt many do
we have heard of insurers that are quite cool about remapping when its explained its done for improved economy

Thanks Flash - might ask insurance and if not bad then start saving :-)

I'm very interested to see if this works on a 99g version....although I have other problems to sort out first!

For additional info. Does anyone know if the turbos on the 99g and 'normal' 90hp are the same? I know that 99g is a fixed vane turbo, just wondering if the normal 90hp is too?

I thought that I'd heard that the 99g turbo was smaller than one the other models, but I ain't sure, maybe one of our tame Citroen guys will know

                            Hi Dave,

was reading through an earlier post where you had tried to fit a tuning box to a 1.6 HDi (alcaz1wolf) but could not as it ws in such a hard to reach area, somewhere behind the engine.

What is different about this one and where would it be fitted and what would need to be done?

                                OK Guys
Im afraid I have to report we are not happy with the box results still - we fitted one to the ds3 1.6hdi 110 today and we are not happy with the results
i have to firstly apologise to the owner of this vehicle for his wasted drive to Bromsgrove - we will of course be looking after him once we have the solution
We have returned to look at the possabilities that have caused this to not work correctly and the overwhelming feeling is that it is a sensor issue that is not present when the engine is tested "on the bench" in Italy
                                as it ran perfectly there
We are confident that we will have an answer to this before the 12/3 meeting
                                will keep you all posted
                                Dave
