Is WMI not used more for its cleaning of the intake valves, preventing carbonisation, more than anything else
Or is it performance enhancing first, then cleaning second

I am using it more for cleaning and as a preventive measure a I have not tuned my engine after WMI installation. It messes up the mixture (enrich) and thus require remapping, so I am very likely loosing power.
So for me it acts more an "extra injector" in the intake like Toyota and some other brands have done with their DI engines.

Not much, depends how much I beat it and how low I have boost controller set. On track days I refill the reservoir once or twice.

How big is the reservoir, and where did you put it?

Engine bay is too tight imho, thus I share windshield washer fluid reservoir. Some people have installed a separate reservoir in trunk.

Isn't it too hot near the engine? or it doesn't matter as long as the water is liquid? and it's supposed to be difficult to install the pump there? or do you use 50/50 or pure methanol? I'll try to get my injection kit installed tomorrow (got 5 hours left to sleep, it's six in the morning), at least will try to do so. Will put a 5 liter reservoir in the trunk, none 10 liter was available and still isn't. month of waiting from ebay. Considering our "express mail" have bought 5 liter for now... what manufacturer of w/m ingection do you use?

Which? The washer fluid reservoir? It is behind the front bumper on the passenger side, far away from engine. I installed the pump above the washer fluid reservoir, attached it to the bumper structure.
If you refer to explosion risk, ethanol and methanol have higher flammability temperature than gasoline. NOS is another thing...

I did not want to waste space in trunk for a reservoir, thus share the washer fluid reservoir. I am using a mixture of -40C windshield washing fluid (ethanol WITHOUT GLYCOL+water) I am not running meth for several reasons: more difficult to get, poisonous (especially if you happen to use it in windshield washer reservoir and spray), marginally better than ethanol.

My kit is stage 1 Devils Own. Cheap and works like a charm.
