Is your friend running higher than standard BHP/PS?
The upgrade is needed as the extra heat can degrade the rubber diaphragm at higher temperatures in the OEM DV
There were a few issues in early THPs of this
But your friend DS3 is good- no cleaning of valves. Thats really good.
