Headlight bulb upgrades

I have never got more than 3 months from any upgrade bulb, and have given up now, back to standard. There is obviously a voltage spike issue with the DS3

Its strange, as I am on my second set of Nightbreaker unlimited in just over 3 years.
They must get average use as I travel motorways during evening occasionally for hours, and its always dark in the winter when I both leave and return home from work.
3 months is madness.
When my first set went, they went within about a month of each other. This second set lasted longer than the first
OEM lamps are in the boot just in case
(You can guarantee both mine will blow imminently)

mk2k41, which of the bulbs did you replace? H7, H1 and 501? or just H7 and 501?

Bit late, but I've only just spotted this. I replaced the H7 and 501, and I'm planning on doing the H1 shortly.

For me the Nightbreaker Plus lights last a lot longer than the Nightbreaker Unlimited lights - I've gone back to the former as the latter blew within 6m....

Not sure what Nightbreaker I'm on then.. might well be Nightbreaker Plus TBH

That is just normal. More perfomance, less burn time
