    Ed- Make sure your remap doesn't go over 200BHP I think it was for me- costs go up more
    IE- My remap and other bits on my THP 150 kept me an absolute smidge under 200BHP and had print out to prove it

          Don't think it matters what a map is for- insurers still see that a vehicles ECU has been messed with, and they don't like it

                    Just my ten pence worth here but you should declare everything to the insurer, not to do so is to commit insurance fraud which is a very serious offence.

                    Granted not many insurance companies make full checks these days but it's not worth running the risk in my opinion.
