Took the car to the garage about 9:30am, still got the car and said it would be about another hour. When asked why it's taken nearly 4-5 hours instead of 1-2 hours, was told "not to be rude but you could do it yourself"....

Just wondering how long it's taken other people/garages to fit it. Also, they said they going through the wheel arch was a no go too...

Let's just hope they aren't planning on billing you by the hour..

Okay so, £76 labour charge. Total 91.20£
There is a difference, defo shorter but, was it worth nearly £200.... Not too sure though...
Maybe a longer road trip will tell, but for a few miles trip, was noticeable.

You've got the PDF. Grow a pair and DIY.

Bring it to FCS nonetheless with a printout, there's going to be enough people there to lend a hand if you struggle

It's true a few years back I would've done this myself, now I find myself second guessing the instructions and worrying if I could get it all back together ok....

When I fitted mine you need vice to knock the pin out and put it back in

Got a proper old school engineering mechanic to fit mine soon,he laughed when my regular garage said they could not fit it due to safety issues/liability on them!

He can fit it on 11th May!
