Just fitted a MTC intake kit on my Racing. The filter is a bit too big for my Racing so propably gonna trim off some of the plastic from the stock air "scoop" or get a smaller diameter filter. The moisture sensor on the PCV tube had to go but the car runs fine without it and I've seen other people run without this with no issue. I was happy to get rid of all the plastic crap from the stock intake. With the airbox and piping out I get space to mount a much needed dual catch can on the firewall.. also, it makes great noises; https://youtu.be/yuWfumQOIs4

Yeah I considered that, but the aluminium hose joiner inside pretty much fills it all up. I might try to relocate the filter to inside the front wing with some extra piping or get a smaller filter and build some kind of airbox. The car heatsoaks like crazy when driven on a track so the current location of the filter is far from ideal anyway.
But if the air passes through the intercooler after filtered and presurized by the turbo, the logical step isn't upgrading the intercooler itself?
