I agree with tomu, with etuners flasher tool you can flash the car in 20 minutes , and of course you can do it before taking it to Service.

I did it that way and the guys from Citroen Didn't notice anything.

Im using an Stage1+ Map , with Forge BOV and Alta Foam Filter.

Bosch MED 17.4 Doesnt have a Counter on it, that is a lie that most tuners tell you. They way to access this ECU is using a known security flaw on it, which lets you put another file on it with the same checksum so the system will not notice a modification on it.

Also with Etuners, you dont even have to read the FULL ECU, you can just read the memory address where the needed parameters are located and change them. Saving you time.

My opinion- Remaps could cause some of the problems on THPs? and warranty gets void
Probably would only consider after warranty expires......but would love to do it
Just think that when they make these cars- they do so with parameter tolerances set?
So remaps c++k things up? Am I wrong?

there will be a percentage tht disagree with you and say tht they have had theirs remapped and have had no problems atall and still get it serviced / warrenty work because the map is very well hidden. but i understand where your coming from totally.

If you still want your insurance to be valid then yes, you need to declare it.

Well at least you had the nerve to try it.....aint got the nerve to change my air filter to a performance one....and I bought one too!
Started worrying bout the change in airflow and how it would affect pressures, and Turbo etc etc and never fitted it!
Specially when Zack said it would add bout HALF a BHP

Chris_Blue, i think you are worrying about it a bit too much. Yes, many people have had problems with the THP but many haven't.... we just seem to hear about the bad ones on here. If you go onto any car forum regardless of how reliable the car is, there will always be people complaining about engine issues.
Just keep the standard parts just encase something goes wrong and you can just change them back

LUFCe- only concerned about MechMODDING and the remap. Leave mechanics of car as made is my motto
