I did think about it and yes yours look awesome.

The main reason I would like to change the car is that it had some crash damage, it wasn't repaired very well and that bugs me.

Not a bad call really. I think you'd enjoy it more if you got the higher spec diesel engine too, either the e-HDi 110 or 115

I can vouch for the 115 version. Its an excellent engine and plenty of torque!!

Aren't all the HDI engines the same tho? I thought it was only the turbo that was different in them.

They aren't all the same, after 2010 they started using an 8V head instead of the 16V head. I think the aim of this was more low down torque and better economy most likely. With the newer 8v version they also had the option of stop start and they use a much more complicated ECU system. The 92PS version uses an MHI TD02 turbo and the Bosch EDC17C10, the 115PS uses a GTD1244VZ VNT turbo and the Siemens SID807 ECU and injection system. Before 2010 they all used the Bosch EDC16C34/C3.

Personally I prefer the older 16v as it really likes to rev high, so you can bolt on a big turbo and go for big BHPs

The 8v does have loads of torque down low though and lots of useable torque before 2000 RPM which is nice. I find that 1st and 2nd gear aren't that great as the power dies off in the higher revs, I do most of my overtaking in 4th and 5th as you can really make use of that torque it just keeps going and going.
