New exhaust from Bastuck

Under about 60mph it was really good. Lovely burble and fantastic sound
It was just when you put your foot down (It did add to the acceleration) there was a heavy drone round 70mph and above
Got a bit noisier in the cold weather too- had my fun for 6 month- now put a Res on
Beauty of it is, I will still have the section if I wanna take the mid res off again

Thought on Milltek- but didnt have enough time to sell Bastuck- price would have been about even if I'd sold

Bastuck with Centre Silencer

This is with the standard Cat, so with the Milltek (or Bastuck) Cat it will be a bit louder again!

Mind you- with the higher speeds that may be more noisy- and with sports cat too
Still- I have the whole system with the mid res now - and its going on next Tuesday

I then have a 400 mile trip straight after its put on- so that will be a good test run

Will be the Bastuck Catback with Center Silencer + Milltek Downpipe with Sportcat

Weird DS3r isnt it. Mine without silencer was getting a real loud drone at 70mph+
Thats why Mid resonator being fitted. Will know what a mid res with turback sounds like next Tuesday

The video from Fabian is a lot quieter than mine, which had no mid resonator

We will have to compare exhausts in Brighton at the CUK meet

PS Anyone wants BASTUCK bits, I know someone whose great on prices

Winter cold air made it more throaty - was driving -5 to -10 degrees celsius a week or 2 back
Also- our Sports Cats are not the same?
And as said- your engine may be tuned better than mine

Well- had the Bastuck fitted to the 155 with a mid resonator too
Its certainly taken the edge off, but still a real meaty sound- most of the drone at high speed gone
Cant believe the difference to standard performance the new exhaust makes

Haha we can see in Brighton :-) I think mine has now settled and bedded in now its been on about 3/4 weeks, its tone seems slightly deeper now, I'm still loving it, so pleased I got it :-)

Yes, I noticed our Milltek got a little deeper after a couple of weeks, sounds even better.
