Chris here are some pics to help, as you can see it is not possible to connect the wires wrong.
lift up the retainer for the wire to coil plug
Pull plug straight out toward front of car
Pull the coil straight up, its hard to get off. You can twist a little to help
That's the plug way down there. if you do not have a spark plug socket you can remove with normal socket and use a piece of rubber hose to push on the end of the plug and lift it out.
No way to cross those wires
