The travelling guys usually have a portable rolling road- that's why not everyone does it as far as I know.

That's not true. A lot of the dealers just have the hardware and maps to upgrade you via the OBD2 port. Once uploaded, you can run it in yourself.

For a custom remap however, I'd definitely recommend you get it on a RR.

Really? God knows why they're charging through the nose then. Probably cheaper to buy the map and equipment yourself.

I know the other firm I've been talking to- (Celtic), bring the RR out to you and the map is 340 or something

From the queries I've raised about this in the past:
Fuel costs, research and development costs, facilities and equipment, etc..

If Adobe can charge thousands for their software I don't see why a remapping specialist can't do the same ^_^

lol- but putting a map on isn't rocket science. With me I don't mind paying for the 'experience' and that should include the RR.

If that's the case then ideally you should be looking at going directly to Viezu or any other mapping specialists at their main offices for that as an option. For those of us who don't live close to Bromsgrove though the dealer route is usually much faster and easier.

Sedox up here do it. They have the stage 2 map and stage 1 from head office in Norway. They will then be having a play with it to see what else they can get out of it.

What would you like to know, regarding the turbo ? And all the THP petrol engines, whether it be in a Citroen, Peugeot or BMW MINI are all twin scroll.
