Happy Days- new panel came today so fitted it straight away- 10 minute job. I really must say you can tell the difference, car just feels alot smoother.

Mappers reckon Citroen wont see a remap, and if you replace sports filter with originbal paper one how will they know?

I guess the world is also flat because you haven't been in orbit and seen it?

No- I dont automatically believe everything I hear (Or read) Not that I think anyone tells untruths, just that everybodys experience is different
Some have loved their remaps- and some certainly havent
Thats how my negotiations at work are conducted too. Weigh things up
Just my way eh? As said before- be a shame if we were all the same

Have you spoken to anyone whose remap didnt work?

I also have a nice sticker that came with my filter saying "This is a Lifetime Filter- the use of pipercross air filters will not void your vehicles warranty" Supposed to stick it on the housing.

Would you like their phone number so you can call and check with them?

I have already covered the people who had big issues with therr remap- a number of other people also joined in- remember?

KN Filters are taken out and replaced with paper I understand when vehicle is serviced, so it may not affect the warranty but I wouldnt leave it in place.

I'm Almost 100% sure that if you tell them when you put the vehicle in for service then they'll not bin it! You just let them know, tell them the filter is new, doesn't need cleaning yet. Pretty sure they won't bin it out of spite you know- more likely a mistake

So with the factory standard intercooler you're engines intake temperatures registered at 62ºc with an ambient (outside) temperature of....? And now with you're custom intercooler you're engines registered intake temperatures are 28ºc what are the ambient (outside) temperatures ?

62 degrees with ambient temperature of 20 degrees
28 degrees with ambient temperature of 18 degrees

Both tested when rolling on a rolling road.
