Timing chain tensioner-leading to a number of other problems-leading to a new engine
high pressure fuel pump
gummed up valves-leading to new engine
a small valve under the intake manifold (forget the name) that causes a vacuum leak
probably others I'm forgetting
But still love my THP

It's like anything- if you add more stress to a fault it'll break quicker, it would still break without the extra stress but the extra stress just makes it happen quicker.

If the part is already flawed and increase inpressure will cause it fail faster- it would still fail, just slower...that's how they're supposed to test the parts

If you have a brick wall that has a crack in it and you throw stones at it, it's going to take a large number of stones before the wall falls down.
Now imagine you have a hammer and you keep tapping away at that crack. The wall's still going to fall but it'll probably go down much sooner.
The wall is still at fault as the crack shouldn't have been there.
Even it it was a perfect engine wear and tear would eventually do it in. People that mod their cars are willing to accept the increased chance of failure and potential warranty issues on newer cars. It's a very personal choice. If your not willing to take the risk don't. No one is trying to talk you into modifying your car. Just trying to help you understand the plusses and minuses.

Thats why my thoughts are to wait till the warranty has almost expired
Thats 23 months away. Not taking the risk. Car needed regular up and down counry, and dont wanna be stuck
Of course- could go back to plan A - get a Racing CBLUE
Agreed- but keeping possible problems to the minimum, and warrnaty intact, is best IMO
Shame I have to loose out on another 30hp. I'll get there but after the warranty expires CBLUE
