Official UK transport information, regarding DB/A noise levels.

The noise levels for cars used on a public road is 74 decibel (dB(A)). Most vehicles produce lower levels.
Off-road vehicles and direct injection diesels are allowed to be 1 dB(A) louder. These allowances can be combined, so the limit for an off-road vehicle with a direct injection diesel engine is 76 dB(A).
It’s illegal to modify the exhaust system to make a vehicle noisier after it has been ‘type approved’ (checked it meets environmental and safety standards). The police can also take action if your vehicle's silencer doesn’t work or if you’re driving in a way that creates too much noise.

So- I read on another thread from way back, that if you modify or replace part of your exhaust, the warranty wont cover the exhaust
but will cover the rest of the car and the engine etc etc? Thats sound right? Will ask friday when going in for them to disconnect

My understanding was that any changes to any parts that aren't auth'd by CUK will void your vehicles warranty. I'd recommend you get anything in writing if you're worried about your warranty.
Saying that, Citroen's promises aren't worth the ink the write them with.

Is it extra noisy Zack? You put a Db meter on or just didna worry?
Fancy 2 sets of twin pipes on back of mine!
Also read that if you mess with exhaust - it only voids warranty on the exhaust (Just realised i already said that earlier LOL)
Dont expect same is with induction kit- spose that affects the whole engine

Get who to give you a quote on what? Modifying your back box only won't be expensive. Couple hundred quid at most.

Citroen dealer to make a custom exhaust- then it cant jeopardise the warranty as theyve done it!
Or they dont get the work- simples
