When travelling at speed, the air throughput sorts that, but at standstill (Traffic) after high speed, the air in the engine bay will be roasting (That's why bonnets are raised after a track session)
Answer- Bonnet vents
With bonnets vents it has been proven to me the recovery time after a hard pull is better, than with standard unvented bonnets. My intake figures also suggest intake when idling compared to before and after vents installation is well better. With more air circulating at high speed, and the hot air venting from the engine bay, that helps too.
Bonnet vents can help, as well as more efficient intercoolerLast edited by Chris_Blue; 27-02-2015, 13:53.sigpicJog on Noddy

Also as you can see on the pictures wire/switch is not attached to a relay....is it an intercooler fan wire? I am planing in summer than to get the new stock OEM intercooler and fun...would it be a problem to drive a car until than without this intercooler fan?
The car is driving fine and no fault codes.
