      Milltek system with high flow cat took it to the high 160's, then fitted the IC and tweaked to 1.3 bar boost.

          You mean wastegate duty cycle parameter? If yes then i must check it with Lionheart app I gues, as Torque pro wont show it I think...

            • Yes - I'm sure that it was 85% at idle before IC upgrade - I saw that value many times. Tommorow I'll check how it looks now - with that Airtec IC.

              • On the back of the standard intercooler there is a large fan has anyone ever known this to come on?if not why not has anybody any idea?

                          With bonnets vents it has been proven to me the recovery time after a hard pull is better, than with standard unvented bonnets. My intake figures also suggest intake when idling compared to before and after vents installation is well better. With more air circulating at high speed, and the hot air venting from the engine bay, that helps too.

                          Bonnet vents can help, as well as more efficient intercooler

                          • I checked my wastegate duty cycle - yes it's 85% at idle - so its ok. And here it is last small test result - max boost and intake temp after WOT. The ambient temp. was 6 deg C:



                            Max boost is 1,15 bar with only 3 deg C ambient-intake temperature difference after hard WOT. :-)

                              Mine does not have intercooler fan. Previous owner had a small front collision. Now I am thinking that the intercooler on my car is not OEM as it does not have a fan attached and the intercooler hoses are to close to the exhaust (picture attached).
                              Also as you can see on the pictures wire/switch is not attached to a relay....is it an intercooler fan wire? I am planing in summer than to get the new stock OEM intercooler and fun...would it be a problem to drive a car until than without this intercooler fan?

                              The car is driving fine and no fault codes.
