I would think that unless the EU has superseded UK law The Road Vehicles Lighting (Amendment) Regulations 2005 would still be in effect in the UK.Originally posted by cyclone

(b)a device which resembles a blue warning beacon or a special warning lamp, whether the same is in working order or not.

If you got stopped, it comes under vehicle construction - it's showing lights other than allowed to the front or rear. So it would be a fixed penalty notice or what they call a VDRS (Vehicle Defect Rectification Scheme) with the hassle of getting vehicle returned to factory standard with garage issuing a notice that it's been rectified at a cost. (ex copper told me)
does look pretty awesome though.

I'm unable to find any legislation stating you can't have a static coloured light at the front of your vehicle that's any colour other than red.

Their is a clause stating that the front running light "is capable of emitting white light to the front" all though you could argue that the lights are still (capable) of doing this.Originally posted by cyclone
