    Shedule 2 of The Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989 states what colour can be used for front lights. Hint: its white and yellow..

        get a hidden switch that changes the bulbs to white if the police pull you over.... then play dumb.

            Yes part of it and it states what color the mandatory lights are to be. Also that you can not add red lights on the front or anything resembling a blue warning beacon or special warning lamp. you could add extra green lights if you want.

                    But, thats what covers the drls.
                    there will be legislation covering the additional lights, i will look after i have finished painting.

                        Agreed on the drl's, way back in post 56 they need to be white Let us know what you find on additional lights.

                              So far, we have established that DRLs must be white (or if incorporated within a yellow headlight) yellow.

                              We have also established that no light showing at the front can be red (subject to exceptions that don't concern us).

                              The scope for front lamp colours seems quite wide then!

                              BUT NOT DRLs (= white only - see above)
