I used kero on my Saikou Michi Catch Can. got it pretty clean, though this was on the Seat Altea TDI Sport Diesel which loved filling up the OCC with heavy gunk. Kero was the only thing that loosened it up.

Probably details how to clean the Saikou can on the US website- will have a look after a year
