  • That has been my experience. Will go all summer without emptying but every 3-4 weeks in winter. When you let it settle out then as you were saying mostly water with emulsion layer over it and thin oil layer on very top. Even when a can is only so efficient (forget what low# Czar said) every drop of oil that is caught in the can is one less carbonizing my valves. So money well spent!

Completely agree Cyclone, i am still astonished by the amount of water from the exhaust when i first start the car so should not be surprised what the OCC catches

      • Has anybody found a one stop shop solution to buying a catch can. I want a complete kit complete with pipes and reducers etc, no fannying around buying bits and pieces of different websites. Cmon peeps, pull your respective fingers out.

If they will ship normal US mail it will go to the APO if only FED EX etc. then not. Shipping to the APO would be much cheaper than to the UK. Mine was Fed Ex to Germany do not have the APO anymore.

                    • APO has always been free I think, I may just get it shipped to home unless I can find one of the US lads out her who is based at Mildenhall.

                      • APO would cost the same as shipping it from anywhere in US to New York by US Mail

I re-read what you said and yes it would, ive mostly ordered from Amazon US before so its been free del although other places ive used charge a small p&p fee.

$59 for shipping, I wouldn't mind but I get paid in USD which is exchanged in my UK bank, il pay for this on my CC in Pounds converted to USD which means I get double dry bummed. I wonder if il get stung for import into the UK as well.
