I have the HDI 115. I talked to the guy at Citroen and he said that any engine remap will void the warranty. But he said there are some that are undetectable and thus safe to use without worrying about the warranty being void. Something to do with a chip and the emotional control unit? Do you know what kind of chip this is and where I could get it? I live in Swansea in Wales.

Ok on the odd chance your not having a go. The lovely man at Citroen use of Emotional Control Unit (ECU) or Engine Control Unit. He was just talking about a remap, on some cars this can be done through the cars computer diagnostic port (OBD port) on others you have to physically open the ECU to accomplish the remap. My guess would be that the ECU in a 63 plate eHDI will need to be removed and remapped on Jamie's workshop desk

As above, for a DS3 remap I wouldn't go anywhere else other than Jamie at SP Tuning, that said I don't believe any remap is undetectable, your dealer would be able to tell quite quickly if they performed certain checks when servicing your car. Unless you have an understanding dealer that will then cause you warranty issues.
The choice really is do you want the remap with better performance but with a risk to warranty cover or not
