Not quite sure what you mean. If you're touching the accelerator it's quite right that the rev dial should move.
Same as FLP though mine fluctuates when idle around the 1000-850rpm mark but I suspect that's got something to do with the way the alternator works.

Ive noticed that the fluctuation is only there when my airco is working. When I got it turned off completely, the car idles at constant rpm..

That would be normal as Air con is putting a load onto the engine. At idle it's more noticeable.

Agree with Toxic, but running the aircon the engine's anti-stall is working harder.

Always found it a bit strange that my car didn't do that in the first couple of weeks. But then again, it might have been cold outside back then..

I don't mean touching, lifting, touching, lifting obviously that would mean it would fluctuate... I mean, foot off completely, just idles. Touch foot slightly, and keep your foot still, then the revs go up and down by themselves... I don't think there is a problem, I suspected it was some sort of anti-stalling circuitry at work to help at the biting point...

Yeh mine is ridiculously high and there only is about 18,000 miles on it.

As already mentioned the high bite point is perfectly normal for PSA vehicles.
