Sorry, he must've mentioned this already but is this a diesel? I would be interested to see a THP's inlet valves.

Did the 150THP did have a different PCV and this was modified when the 155THP came out, is that right?

As Cyclone says its a petrol, 2010 that has had an OCC for about 2000 miles, used VPower for about the last 7000.

I used some BK44 at I think the 20k mark and then again at 25k, first time I noticed a difference, the second time no difference. I will use BK again (waiting out on an email ref a local UK Techron supplier).

@ Toxic, some of my cars internals are slightly different to the 155, I noticed when adding the OCC and the Recirc Valve.

Yes. The external pipework can be seen to be different between the 2 engines, and apparently (Jonbays detailed it) the internal gates were slightly altered. Nothing particulalry dramatic tho, from what i understand

At a car show i went to recently, they were talking about venting to air is the way forward on the PCV system, but then started loosing me in techno speak. lol.

Ive just been back on Amazon and looked through the various posts ref BK44, a bloke with a Cooper S saying it doesn't work, I suspect he might want to get his valves looked at for the real issue

Dont know why the manufacturers just accept carbonisation takes place when fossil fuels are burned, and devise non stick, or inlet valves which can cope with the build up, for a certain amount of miles (40-60k) then they get a manual clean. Least everyone would know where they stand.

Cost I would imagine Chris, how many cars are still in warranty when carbonisation becomes the confirmed issue?

Its cheaper for them to fob of the vast majority of people ignorant of the issue.

True- wonder how long a "Careful" driver could go before carbonisation gets a real probleM
But if you consider the post I have just contributed to the Terraclean thread- seems there is an opinion driving hard and fast keeps carbonisation at bay

Speculation is the sincerest form of flattery.

You're seemingly getting very upset over the information Czar is making available. Perhaps you should look at venting in a different manner rather than trying to put other forum members down.

This isn't the first time one of your posts has been reported.

I don't do upset, along with other emotions it has zero positive impact on any outcomes. However I do take exception to somebody bullying a new member (or any other member), and im not the first person to say so, either on this or other websites.
