Ok, then according to Citroen it's just a feature of THP, not a problem :Joni:

      • How's that Ragnarock? Have you got some information that I don't?

I've got the car booked to the dealer next week, will update this thread if they find something. In the meanwhile the car has been great ever since, no problems or power loss at all.

This is sarcasm. An understandable reaction based on Veho's (Citroen importer) sordid relationship with Ragnarock.

Exactly, let's put it this way. ATM I'm not in the best terms with them.

However, have read more than enough about the issues of THP and it seems in most cases when Citroen cannot figure out what causes e.g. juddering they just feed you "tough shit, no can do". Some sea foaming, badabing badabong, if it the problem does not disappear then just get the f*ck outta our estate.

pmatil btw how many kilometers do you have on it?

            • Oh ok, I have so far a few bad experiences with the dealer but they are from basic maintenance sloppyness etc. Luckily they repair what they break

Ragnarok, currently I have about 23 000 km.

My Racing exploded at 26.500km. The engine issues usually appear before 40k kms.
                Let's hope it was nothing.

                • I forgot to update this thread. The dealer found nothing and the issue hasn't appeared since. Fingers crossed!

                            • Fully agree they love the cold air intake, not sure all the metal and oil like sub zero temperatures though
Oil gets heavier and less fluid, timing chains prefer a decent operating temp, but I am no metallurgist LOL
Never kick my turbo in until am on mid temp on the gauge
