Not always, my red DS3 had red discs on the keys. Just looked on eBay and there's a blue carbon effect film that is similar to the Belle-ile Blue. The sample size (150mm x 100mm) is only 99p so I've just ordered some.

Not for me. I've got a white roof but it's a black disc.

Yup exactly the same, I think it looks much better than the Citroen decal on the older key.

By 'getting it done on the weekend' I clearly meant: 'completely forget I bought the stuff and realise about a month later'.

I tried to do the black circle in blue carbon wrap and (with a combination of not quite the right tools and being cack-handed) I failed.

I ended up just covering one side of my M&S keycare keyring instead:



I think the vinyl looks pretty good and has lasted well considering my keys are in my pocket constantly moving around. I'm sure I eventually will get a craft knife and cut a proper circle for the key.

I recommend the 99p sample wrap if you're thinking of trying this.

Put it on the key first then cut the circle out and pull off the extra. That's what I did.

I tried that but the knife I was using wasn't sharp enough

I'll order a craft knife kit at some point and try again with that.
